In the fall of 2011, I bought 5 acres of land in Chatham County, NC. My goal was to build a homestead and provide everything I needed to live well on a piece of land. The ultimate test in self-reliance. Developing abd combining both primitive skills and modern technology. No limits.

Take a tour of our tiny home rainwater harvesting system that we used for taking showers, irrigating garden vegetables, filtered drinking water, and general construction water as we build our off the grid strawbale home.
